Wow, is that Bolzano from before the manufacturing moved to Germany? These blades have been one of the most popular in Italy for about 100 years. Later on they moved manufacturing to Germany and Feintechnik (that also make/made blades like Croma, Elios and Merkur).
Afraid not; they are German made. I believe they remain popular in Italy, though, and are still distributed by an Italian company. According to Italianbarber.com, production moved some decades ago but the Italians remain in close supervision. All claim that they are hard to come by, but from googling, this doesn't seem correct. @Misphit I will make sure to post about my experience!
It's a St. Regis. I thought it was but closer look, its solid, smooth and actually looks like it was made that way, or it was repaired that way.
