It's all that darn offshore oil. That and a lot of fish Sigh, best fish I've ever had was walking down to the wharf in Bergen and eating freshly caught fish.
Sure is. We won in the lottery back in the sixties. Oil accounts for around a quarter of the GDP. Consequently, GPD as a measure on the importance of fish and aquaculture is skewed (less than one percent). Bergen - yeah, wonderful place, and a fab fish market on the wharf. But also probably the most expensive place to buy fish in the whole of Norway! Edit: add quote
