1. good point. with having a rotation it seems like it would take forever to use something up.

lol if I told SWMBO that I "need" new stuff I would never hear the end of it. the bathroom turned into a "den" very quickly.

  2. A good set of shave gear to keep in rotation, helps keep things sane. Oh, and I just added my new Feather AS-D2 to my rotation, which helps. Check the SOTD Friday for it's first outing. :signs136:Thanks Massdrop and @Darkbulb

  5. Okay, my reading comprehension skills tell me the PIF is for the weaklings who've dropped out.

    That's cool.
  6. I prefer tube keys myself. You can pick those up at Sally's Beauty Supply.

When the vacant eyed teller tells you "I don't think we have those." Ask for the thingys that hairdressers use to get all of the hair coloring out of the tube.

Oh, and I think a PIF for those who drop out of NBJ is a wonderful idea.
If it's good enough, you might even get people to drop out just to join the PIF.

It'll be hard to top the PIF for those staying in, though.

Ouch, thanks a bunch for pointing out my flaws @Omaney :signs131:

Sorry @jeraldgordon I totally missed that one. :signs089: :lam:

Good thing I read contracts for a living! :shocked003:
Must have been a long day at the office, stayed too late at the watering hole and lost my sanity.
(hey wait a minute you tricked me again - “I know there’s no such thing as Santy Claus!”)

ok, I say yea, count me in.
Now where to send my Williams puck for those losers?! ;)

  8. Hmmm. Got this one on hold. Maybe later in the month - have to wait to the end anyway, so that all of the eligible will have time to become eligible!
  9. Not in. I'm going to ace this NBJ.

    @Rufus T.
I expect the same from you when I stray...
  10. @Mr. Shaverman is doing a PIF for those who are strong enough to successfully complete NBJ. I think @jeraldgordon is looking at a PIF for those who jumped off the wagon.

    Am I reading that right?
  11. yes you're right.
mine was a brain freeze. sorry for the confusion @Drygulch :(
  12. Suggested PIF for those that jump off

  13. Lol, rather apt. Even though I, admittedly, had to give up my participation I don't think I could see myself being 'rewarded' for that through a PIF :)

The concept of NBJ is truly very sound and actually, one could, argue a rather important one as it does provide that one month a year where you slow down and just use and enjoy what you have. I really do wish I could have made it longer but temptation(s) were plenty this month.
For those of you that are sticking it out - my hat off to you.
  14. Very sneaky psychology there, Darkbulb! I see what you are doing there...

  19. Oh, and I'm not in! I figured that I accumulated many many NBJs for all the years I didn't DE shave. :eatdrink013::mail:
  20. While I will agree with you that the CONCEPT of NBJ is truly very sound, it always amazes me how hard people will work to fulfill the specific criteria while not seeming to pay any attention to the root concept. In my mind , NBJ means you don't get anything new. Bartering as opposed to paying cash, making sure an order is placed before the stroke of midnight, having someone purchase it for you, etc. all just seem like games politicians play. Just my 2 cents worth.
