    Satin Tip "Purist" brush
    Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe

That's the end of the Lord SC. To bad cuz it's a really nice cream. Got enough soaps/creams that I don't "need" anymore for awhile but thinking I might order some more anyway. BTW, close comfortable shave today. Now go enjoy your day folks

    Feather Razor AS-DS2 Review
    image.jpg Razor: Feather AS-D2 2015
Brush: Jerusalem Olive Wood/WD Silvertip 24/48
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: Truefitt&Hill Grafton
    Blade: Feather (1)
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber WH, Jack Black Post Shave Gel, Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne
First shave with my new Feather razor and I'm excited. It's heavy, a little more than my FB, but I like heavy metal. The quality is as near perfect as you will find, and packaged like Apple packages their iPhones. Very nicely done. The fresh Feather blade locked in like a vault, what a precision machine. Whipped up a thumb nail size dollop of the T&H in my favorite mug with the Silvertip. I let the weight of the razor do all the work. WTG XTG on my face and neck and then ATG on my neck. Nice and slick lather and I can buff a little on the hard to get spots for a very nice smooth shave. The head is wider and totally covers the ends of the blade, which gives it a clean look. I've never had an issue with catching a blade edge on my ear or nose, but this would take that out of the equation. I can, however, get into a couple spots easier than some of my other razors for a BBS shave. Very nice! The handle is the longest I have except for my Toggle, but it's not an issue, as I tend to change my grip from the end for a very light touch, to up closer to the head, for buffing. Finished with the WH, and then some soothing JB. After cleanup some Tommy Bahamas St. Barts cologne. This razor is a keeper and it also cleans up nicely. I will use it for a few days in a row with different creams to break it in. Have a good one y'all!

Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat, Dubl Duck Goldedge straight razor
    Blade: Astra SP (1)
    Brush: Turkish #6
    Soap: WSP - Fougere Noir
After: Home made ASB, Nivea after shave balm
    Cologne: Aqua H2O

Happy Friday! The Fougre Noir face lathered well with the #6 brush. The lather was thick, fragrant and slick. The Aristocrat and the Duck made short work of the stubble. The Nivea ASB and the Aqua H2O were a good finish for this Darn Fine Shave.

    Have a blessed day!

    SOTD:
    Maggard's MR3 (I think that's the one)
    Feather (1)
    Muhle black fibre synthetic
    Soap Commander Courage soap
    Thayer's Rose
    Soap Commander Corage balm
Great products, it was just a tad more aggressive than I like. I think I'm starting to enjoy the Muhle brush a bit more.

A friend of mine gifted me a small sample of this shaving soap quite a while ago but at the time it could only be gotten France. When I found it offered online in the US I couldn't resist.
I like this stuff. Have a good one.

Hahahahaha. I like the rise witch hazel because the scent is pretty subtle and mixes well with almost anything.

Good quick 2 pass shave today. Was low on time and have had some irritation on my face lately so I went with the KMF since it's supposed to be moisturizing.

Remarkable blade. It amazes me every time. Only the old Wilkinson Light Brigades are as smooth and nothing lasts anywhere near as long. It really feels like there's nothing in the razor.
And I still can't get over what the tips on a "Finest" brush are like when wet.
