Thanks for the support. I'm good since I ordered it well in advance of July. Now it looks like I will not be invoiced until August anyway.

I am just enjoying the fact that I have made it ten days and I am feeling good. I'm playing with razors and blades that I haven't used before. I also have been trying out a cream sampler I bought from TSD last month. I think I'll have no problem with making it the month. It might even have softened my ADs beyond July. I can't forget that I will also get much satisfaction from doing the online victory dance for @Darkbulb

Oh absolutely. NBJ does not apply to May. Or June, for that matter, since I've been receiving lots of things I bought in June.

I did seize my own destiny when I said I'm taking a break from buying.
no one twisted anyone's arm to sign up for the challenge.( well maybe dark and chick coerced each other).
while nothing will change in the world if I bought something. I WOULD KNOW, that I didn't or couldn't keep my own word to myself. things come and things go, none of these things are once in a lifetime opportunities, another will come along.
if you guys stick to it and complete the challenge you still get a sense of accomplishment. don't be swayed by those who did not possess the moral fortitude to finish what they started.
abstinence builds character. character harbors confidence. confidence walks hand in hand with peace.
attain these things, you won't regret it. fail and you'll regret it every time this subject comes to mind.

you are correct, participation was never required. I'm not tearing at anyone who didn't want to participate. I'm trying to encourage those who accepted the personal challenge.

it seems like the days have been flying by this month. I have had time to revisit stuff and see if it is better the 2nd time around. I know SWMBO is loving NO BUY JULY lol. I turned the bathroom into a "den" but I have never looked forward to shaving as much before. wet shaving took something I used to hate to do and made it a moment of zen and tranquility. the scents from the lather and aftershave act as aromatherapy and some of the soaps start to change and the oils get mixed up better as it gets used.
LETS GO PEOPLE WE CAN DO THIS!! IT IS ONLY A MONTH AND MOST OF THE STUFF WILL STILL BE HERE NEXT MONTH WHICH GIVES US TIME TO GET MORE MONEY TOGETHER!
