Just sat down with SWMBO at the Bob Newhart show. There sure are a lot of canes and other medical apparati at this theater. We may be the youngest couple here.
I spent the day at an outdoor archery tournament. (Day 1 of 2) It was hot & tiring, but fun. I shot 356 out of a possible 720 & only lost one arrow. Given that this is my first competition at 50 meters, that's pretty good. My shooting partner had very little experience at that distance. He didn't score well, but you have to start somewhere & I give they guy credit for having the guts to try. A lot of beginners haven't the nerve to join competitions.
Yay! It's clean sheets day! Nothing like climbing into bed with sheets fresh out of the wash. And before anyone asks, every Saturday is clean sheets day.
Sounds like everyone had good times. Me on the other hand, my transmission went out 25 miles from home in the middle of now man's land and with no cell servise. Walking the 2 miles to town to get service in a black suit in 98 degree heat with 92% humidity not the best day. Tomorrow has to be better.
Well, at least you got your exercise in for the day. Tomorrow is bound to be better. I'm sorry to hear about the transmission. The transmission went out on my 2007 Camry and cost me $4000
Day 2 of the tournament; My total score is 718. I got the medal for the Female Adult Intermediate category. Again, I am tired, but it was fun. The people were all really nice, too.
Downtown waiting for a date to arrive. She texted that she'll be 15 mins late. I hope my reply 'women!!' was taken well
How many chances do you get to make a good first impression? Might as well call it off now. Think of the extra time you'll get on eBay!
