Spent 20 minutes on the phone with my wife crying to come get me and call a tow truck. I know not very manly
I did bake a bread (but that is what I do on an almost daily basis) plus I made a cardboard mock-up of a part of a new-to-build set of dvd-racks to see : 1. what it will look like b. how much materials we will need (and how much material consumption we will face) Turns out : a. it looks nice! 2. little material consumption (or at least less than expected) The closet that houses our 294 dvd's and blu-rays is more than full. Two rows in front of each other with some more in between leaves no overview.
Cleaned my Weber E-330 gas grill with a power washer. The gunk was too thick in the bottom and drip pan and I was having flare-ups. The stainless steel racks and flavorizer bars I put in a couple of years ago were in great shape, but the heat deflector on the side with the sear burner was in pretty bad shape, so I switched it to the other side. I don't know if I can find SS heat deflectors. It's a great grill, but I find the Webers are a bit overpriced now. A current Weber like the one I have is $800 at Lowe's.
Please share your bread recipe(s) if you will. I would like to see what you bake. Thanks very much.......
Mowed the lawn...took my family out for lunch. Sat in the shade, had a beer and admired the lawn and gardens.
On the grill: Shrimp Cauliflower Yellow squash Zucchini Garlic Portobello mushrooms All in a spicy schezuan marinade And side dirty rice She loves when I fire up the grill
Had a first date. Bought a razor on ebay in the middle of the date amidst flowing red wine and duck rillette (had her check out the razor on the phone before I bid). Some PDA on the sidewalk. Got her a cab. Walked home. Logged onto TSD. Went to sleep.
