In the theater -- it was "Jurassic World".
On video -- it was "The Mole People" (Mystery Science 3000)

    The Quiet Man, a classic.

The best movie John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara did together. Not only a classic, but a great classic.

Just watched Get the Gringo. It was actually really good. If you like Payback you'll probably like this.

Watched Divergent as I'm supposedly watching the sequel tomorrow and wanted to watch this one first.
It was ok. A bit tweeny for my taste but not so bad I turned it off.

SWMBO and I saw Jurassic World (3D) on Independence Day. Incredible movie. We really enjoyed it.

Tonight was "Sharknado 2" (via Rifftrax live simulcast). I know, it's a sickness. :)

I actually thought S2 was better than S1. Did you see S3 yet?

Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No (actual subtitle) will be released later this year. I agree S2 was "better" than S1, but YMMV :)

I just finished the last episode of Victory at Sea

For those who haven't seen it yet, it was made in 1953 by NBC. Somehow, they allowed their copyright on it to lapse and it entered the public domain. The result is that you can get copies at Wally World for $5.00 or even watch them on YouTube.

A total of 26 episodes that are well worth investigating for those interested in WWII.

Ended up seeing Insurgent last night directly following Divergent.
Not too bad. A solid 6.5/10.

Saw "Self/Less" this weekend. Very interesting concept, good cast, well acted...and, yet was still missing something. Worth the ticket if you like dystopia/sci-fi; otherwise, wait for the DVD.

Frankenstein (1931). My 7 and 5 year olds watched it for the first time and agreed it all really wasn't the Monster's fault - he did have a bad brain but mean people made him do what he did. Lesson learned, girls.
