Just received this reply from Williams. The soap may still have a chance for survival

Now I have to decide if this makes me happy, sad, or indifferent and I really don't want to think today. I'll think about it tomorrow, after all tomorrow is another day.

True, it's right up there with "it is what it is". I always want to reply, "is it"?

 

Indeed it is. Except when it isn't.

 

So I called the company. They said there is no intention of discontinuing the soap but from lack of turnover and sales many retailers have decided to drop the brand.

 

It was gone from Walmart last time I was there.

 

Seems ShopRite still has the dozen and a half pucks they had 2-1/2 weeks ago.

 

I told you fools so. It's a marketing ploy.

 

Lol.. What the hell! They said they already have discontinued it..

 

It's a ploy dude. I told you guys this before in a different thread and I was right.

 

Hahaha you said that. No one know if it was a ploy, you suspected it. It could be. No one can know

 

I think it was a way for them to get everyone to freak out and stock up.

 

Ok just to update. I called customer service. They said that Williams is still being produced and will be through 2015. There are no plans to discontinue it. She did mention that many accounts have stopped carrying the soap because of struggling sales and low turnover.

Looks like as ofnow Williams is here to stay
