You MAY have wanted to wait six weeks...I believe their version 2 is coming out in September and is "promised" to have improvements.
Well it was ordered direct from Rockwell and they have re-worked the die casts for the heads which were problematic on the first batch so hopefully I will be lucky.
I think I'm gonna check in with them next week about what all this "version 2" was/is all about. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and hoping that they actually can ship a product that is not utter rubbish
No, like so much else in my life I base my colorful comments on internet rumors, ramblings and reviews Update: Oh wait, I do know one guy who bought one and he was less impressed about the machining.
I'm curious about the 5/6 base plate more than anything else. Read where have used the base plate with fatip and EJ 79 top plates and they like the combos. I'm curious took see how it shaves with Weber our ATT To paste. Handle looks pretty good and hefty
I'm looking forward to your take on it when you get it. I do sincerely hope that they have worked out the issues that plagued a lot of the razors earlier. If that's the case I can see myself ordering one as it really is, on paper, a great value for a fully SS razor setup like that.
Personna Injector II Floating Head razor..... Well there goes me not buying anymore razors for a while.....I just had to press the Buy it Now Button on this somewhat Rare and Unusual Injector.... This is the Personna Floating Head Injector made by the American Safety Razor Company under its Personna brand that was released in 1972. There were two models...The Original Model the Floating Head injector came packaged with 5 Personna 74 Tungsten steel injector blades. This is the later version of this razor that was released in 1973 which came with a blue handle and was labelled as the Personna Injector II Floating Head razor and came packaged with 5 Twin Injector Blades .... This Injector gets its name from the Floating Head that adjusts by moving back and forward and maneuverers around the contours of your face like a Modern Cartridge Shaving System .....These are supposed to be great shavers and purported to be as aggressive as a Schick Type E..... We will soon see..... Billy
Thanks Man, Yeah, quite excited about this one.....She will fit my Wee Stash of NOS Gillette Twin Injector Blades Just Nicely..... Billy
Can't wait to hear how you like or dislike this thing. 80 bucks for an American made stainless razor seems like a fair price to say the least looking at the prices of some of the new "artisan" stainless razors out there.
