Sandalwednesday My second shave with Ada's Sandalwood was an excellent one. I bloomed it in my teacher mug, then loaded the Colonel dry. I was easily able to build thick lather. I used the Fatboy on 9-9-7 to decimate my stubble in comfort and without drama. I finished with Fougére Classique and Shea Moisture balm. Wednesday Prep: Warm Shower-Stirling Bath Soap-Island Man Soap: Proraso White Tub-Green Tea & Oat Razor: Gillette Fatboy Blade: Gillette Platinum (1) Brush: Plisson Grey Badger (#12)-22mmx56mm Aftershave: Clubman WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angles for my beard) Squeezing my last shave from this tub of Proraso White Green Tea & Oat today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson Badger. Great, easy, thick, lather. I loaded a new Gillette Platinum in the Fatboy. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with Clubman. Bob
•Personna Star Trek injector •newer Schick blade This was a completely dry shave just before bed last night. Had two days growth but only wanted to even up the sideburns and...got carried away. Took very light 'buffs' and experienced no nicks or real irritation; I was surprised it went as well as it did. Ended up DFS. LOTS of dry skin came off (probably no more than usual but it was very noticeable in the sink) so I finished up with Lucky Tiger lotion and hit the sack. No, I would not do this regularly, but it's nice to know it can be done if I'm ever stranded on an island and Mary Ann doesn't want to shave me again. Am saving whatever grows back for the Red Tip that I'm expecting in a day or two.
WEDNESDAY Possibly my last real shave for the next 3 days as I'll be leaving tomorrow morning with wife & friends on a camping trip. Unless I manage to squeeze one more in in the early morn. If not, this morning's fine shave will have to tide me over until Sunday morn! Have a Happy HumpDay, all!

I think I found a new favorite AS/EdT combo.....The Myrsol Agua de limon matches perfectly with Royall Rugby. Unfortunately I'm almost out of the Royall Rugby sampler I have and will have to wait until August before I can buy anything.

Prep: Hot shower with Neutrogena Face Wash with menthol, home made PSO Razor: Gillette Super Speed 40's, Friodur Inox straight razor Blade: Astra SP (4) Brush: Vie Long Horse Hair Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat After: Home made ASB Cologne: Prada - Amber Pour Homme Intense It is Wool Fat Wednesday! The Vie Long brush whipped the MWF into a wonderful lather. The MWF just exploded in the bowl this morning. I had enough lather for at least 6 passes. The SS and the Inox worked well together. The Prada was a fine finish for this 2 pass Darn Fine Shave. Have a blessed day!
