image.jpg Razor: Gillette Slim (k3) 1965 (5) (3) (original case and blade pack with instructions)
    Brush: Whipped Dog 30/45 Silvertip
Mug: Old Spice 1985 Cobalt Blue
    Cream: TOBS Grapefruit
    Blade: Feather (2)
Pre shave: Tree Hut Shea body wash Mango
Post shave: Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera, Jack Black balm, Old Spice original Shulton 1980 glass AS (gift from my father in law)
Whipped up the TOB Grapefruit in a minute with the Silvertip. Nice slick cushion and I really like the scent. I really like the slim and next to my FB it is my go to razor. The heavy handle and head gave me a nice smooth shave with no pressure with a Feather blade set on 5. The Shea Mango for the pre-shave helped give me a nice no burn shave. My technique is getting better on my neck, especially with a slick lather and sharp blade on (3), so I can buff the area on the right side of my neck. The Thayers Cucumber Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera felt good on my face and that natural scent was nice and fresh. After cleaning my razor and a little spray of isopropyl alcohol to help dry the innards, I smoothed on some Jack Black, and then some vintage Old Spice, from 1980, ahhhh. Y'all have a good one!

Prep - Shower / Woods Of Windsor Cedar Woods soap / Pre-lather / 3 min steam
Razor - Gillette New Long Comb
Blade - Personna Platinum Chrome (#2)
    Brush - Omega 10810
Soap - Arko / Proraso Green / Glycerine
After - Frozen towel / Alum & WH Mix
    Result - BBS

My worst shave since I started DE eighteen months ago. I've used the LC on many occasions with great results but this blade really must not be compatible with it. Yes, it can bite but I was really careful so there's more going on here than just me. It certainly wasn't anything to do with my überlather as its a proven winner for me.
I didn't have a great shave with them on my first blade trial, same for this second trial's first shave too.
I can't see me having these in the rotation but I'll have another go with it in a Tech to see what that yields.

I had a fantastic shave today. It was so smooth I had to check there was a blade in. The soap was super slick and performed well.

    Shave of the day

Pre- Hot shower, Olive oil bath soap
    Soap/cream- Haslinger Schafmilch shaving soap
    Brush- Turkish nr 6 Boar
    Razor- Gillette Tech
    Blade- Astra SP (2)
Post- Cold water rinse, Aqua Velva Ice blue aftershave lotion and Nivea sensitive cooling aftershave balm

Not the best shave and actually a nick too. It was a long time ago I got a nick. But its not the soaps fault, it was really slick! Love this soap.

The tech is a good shaver. Today I felt that it was a little harsh, i blame my technique of course =P

The Turkish no6 brush is getting better, I look forward to It being fully broken in =)
