In case you haven't seen this site before, I hadn't until today, it has a LOT of great information about vintage shaving brushes such as Rubberset, EverReady, etc. Link: http://home.comcast.net/~bladeshark1/index.html Explore the menu items ontop - even the "Other Manufacturers" have some great brushes i there. Great site.
That's an amazing site. Thanks for sharing it. I had no idea that Rubberset manufactured so many different brushes.
Very cool. I'm off to hunt for BSB Spain. Edit: Barcelona Shaving Brushes. http://www.bsbshavingbrushes.com/2014/12/blog-post.html?m=1 Apparently, the owner got permission from the rights holder of Rubberset (presumably Sherwin-Williams) to make these, and they asked for a brush to display in their U.S. museum. (From Facebook)
Greetings Gents, I’ve been a long time lurker here but haven’t jumped in before. The site you found is mine. It’s reasonably new having gone live in January. Originally I was only interested in the Rubberset brushes but I kept seeing others that really caught my eye. Every-Ready, Erskine and Vulcan in particular have caught my fancy and I decided to put up a few more pages on other brushes I see. So formally, hello all. I hope you enjoy the site. Best wishes, Jim
A warm welcome to you from North Texas. With that being said ... Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave
That reminds me. I contacted him to find out what his prices were for both the aluminum and titanium brushes were. He responded with a statement that he didn't have any made right now, and would I like to be added to the notification list. He also didn't let me know how much they cost. So there's that.
