  11. now that it's almost over, what have you refrained from purchasing? what items tempted you to fall?
    my list;
    several lime aftershaves, I've had a hankering for lime.
    3 I'm considering getting early August

    stahly live blade, been itching along time to get one. it'll be hunted down in August

    a friodur straight like a 72 1/2, these have my eye.

    persona labs jumped from 12ish to 30 bucks, I may stock up on these.

    I'll happy to have participated, but glad it's almost over.
    how bout y'all?
  12. Great idea David,

    Things that have tempted me this month:

    Rubberset 400-4 that I want to complete the trio.

    Several Shavemac and Custom Brushes on another forum BST. The prices were great.

    I am sure more opportunities will come up in due time.

    Overall, I am happy that I participated but will be glad when it's over as well.

  13. I cannot think of any real temptations. I've been outfitting for the coming deer season so my money has been exhausted.
  14. I saw a couple of hones and some aftershaves that I wanted, and may get on Saturday. I did get snipped on two auctions for large lots of razors that in all honesty I didn't need.
  15. I was tempted by a couple of Rubberset 400 brushes. The hardest part was passing on cream when in the Nancy Boy store in San Francisco. I like their cream and am very low on cream. Oh well, I'll buy cream next week

  20. I find these last couple pages very interesting - it appears that for most here, NBJ was just like the typical "diet" - favorite foods are abstained from for a period, followed by an orgy of eating as a "reward". Some have used this time to simplify, and intend to continue in a less consumerist path. The majority just endured, and now intend to spend every bit as much as they would have spent (maybe more), just all at once. For the simplifiers - kudos! For the rest - what exactly was the point???
