  14. We had a super weekend. My brother and his wife came for a visit over the weekend. We had great time doing several things around Fort Smith. We talked and laughed about growing up.

  18. Yup, they are busy at it for some time now. I just joined last week. :) They are rebuilding a steam engine as well. The wheels are ready as is the steam boiler. Other than that it still is all in parts. Including some collision damage on the frame from somewhere in the 1950's.

They've got three other steam engines, a few diesel locs, a pair of diesel/electric locs and a load of train cars. Open cars, a post office car, a camping car (!), a milk car, a cattle car and of course several sorts of passenger cars. Then a few historical buses as well.

They are some 22 km / 13.5 miles from my home. More info over here (on their website): => *click* <=
Time to brush up your Dutch! :p (well, there's one English page as well so there ya go!)
  19. It was a bit cloudy for the first day. Then it's been getting clearer each day. Now the water is crystal clear.

  20. I've been doing some work experience at a local museum. But the contract ran out July 31st. So today was my first day there as a volunteer. It's a fun place to work. It's a fire engine museum. I'm just helping with their I.T.
It was nice to be there cos I chose to be there and not because I had to.
