Yeah pretty crappy feeling. Hopefully the bank went ahead and credited your account while it's being looked at.
I had to file a claim and they deactivated my card, luckily the culprit only took me for $69.95 which will be credited back.
So I'm in a bit of a jam. I bought a beautiful Gillette Britsh Rocket the other day, it's going to arrive on Thursday. So what's the problem? My wifey was suppose to be going with her mom to visit her Grandmother Wednesday and returning Thursday night, well after the mail delivery. She's not now. It's not that I'm trying to hide the fact I bought a razor, it's just that I'm trying not to let her know ..do I let the razor sit in the mail box over night, or do I show/tell her? Or....do I go buy her a new pair of sneakers and call it even? Honesty is the best way..
So what did you get for the other $60.00? Be honest and take the consequences. You will probably have to get the sneakers too
That's what I'm going to do. This isn't my first offense, by now she's pretty numb to the wet shaving addiction hobby.
Well honesty is the best policy....or you could just say you won a PIF. Tell her it's a present from a freind, or my favourite, thank her for buying it for you. Once she admits she didn't buy it for you, just plead ignorance about where it came from.
HOW NOT TO CLEAN YOUR iPHONE: So what happens when your iPhone 6 accidently gets tossed into the washing machine with your bed sheets? Well, after 48 minutes of warm water rinse-wash-spin cycles, you are left with an entirely unresponsive Apple paperweight. No life. Plugged it in…no response. I disassembled the phone into two halves (cover with screen, base plate with battery and the ‘guts.’’ I removed the 1810 mAh battery and, as you see in the photo, it did not come away entirely intact after the wash cycle. Apple wants $80-plus for a repair service fee, so I picked up a new battery from ebay for $9. I took the phone halves and placed them in a ziplock bag with about a dozen silica gel desiccant packets and left them there for about 5-6 days. My new battery arrived and so I reassembled the iPhone with the new battery. Moment of truth: Plugged it in and…..LIFE! Home screen appeared and the phone was now charging..a good sign! I checked on it an hour later...no response. I hooked the phone up to my mac, opened iTunes and hit 'restore'—which downloaded the latest OS to the phone. Phone booted up...looked fine. Navigation time...whoops, I can't escape any app as the 'home' button' when pressed, takes a snapshot of the screen. As does the 'sleep' button. I now have quite the gallery of home screen snap shots in my photo album. Time to visit the Sprint store and get a new phone (still under warranty). What your phone battery looks like after a thorough wash & rinse cycle...
