LASS Woody Lavender today. 20 seconds to load the Plisson badger. Great easy, thick, lather. I loaded a new 7 O’Clock Blue SP in the FH Tech. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Modern Fougere.

Post - Witch Hazel and TSD Bourbon Vanilla AS

Before anything else, I want to say just how amazing the Bourbon Vanilla AS is and what a great job JoAnna does with all the TSD products! This one is definitely top notch and the smell is just incredible! Working on my 30 Day Rule and today was a very good shave! No nicks. No weepers. Even the AS was silent except one small area of the neck. Focused on technique and listened for the blade feedback and it made worlds of difference!

    Soap: Maggard unscented
    Brush: Ever-Ready 100T with Plisson-style synthetic knot
    Razor: Feather AS-D2
    Blade: Feather
    After: Cold rinse, CeraVe lotion

I just finished restoring the Ever-Ready over the weekend and today was my first shave with it. I love the clean look and feel of these Ever-Ready brushes. The Plisson-style knot feels great: it is soft, but has just the right amount of backbone, more than the real Plisson.

The Maggard's soap lathered up easily and provided good protection. I like the fact that this unscented soap is very neutral -- no added fragrance, of course, but it has almost no scent at all. It rinses off easily and cleanly and is kind to my skin. Excellent!

Nice mild shave, the SC101 has never let me down. The Stirling brush is a bit big for this small tins, I made it work. SuperMax Platinum blades are pretty good! $7.99/100..
