The Executive looks fantastic. I thought I had RAD under control.

How does the Real Shaving Cream compare to some of the other tube creams you've used? I'm looking to try a different cream for my travel kit.

August Adjustable Focus

1958 Executive - Just what setting do I like? Which one works best? Which one gives the best shave? Which one removes the most skin?

Used the Exec on 6 today for a 2-pass DFS shave with very few touch-ups. So far this week I used the Exec on 3, then 4, then 5, now 6. Definite difference on 6. On 6 the shave required very little of the extra strokes necessary to complete a nice shave, BUT, my face stung a bit when the alum showed up. Not so much with the AS. I may have been a bit too aggressive with my technique. So, I'm staying on 6 for Friday and then on to 7 and 8 for the weekend when I can pay more attention.

Day 5 - 6 August 2015

30 Day Rule - Phoenix OC

Day five on the Rapira and it's still showing no signs of dulling. This Phoenix razor is definitely capable of BBS in 2 passes...and that's what basically happened today. The razor has a nice angle sweet spot and provides lots of audio feedback. I have the La Toja dialed in and am really liking the lather and skinfeel. Beautiful evening on the prairie, busy making preparation for a weekend visit from my mom's sister, very excited about that! Other than that...all is quiet in Colorado.

Woke up this morning at the usual time, got up, got my cup of coffee, sat down on the couch, reclined it back, and decided it was too early to care today. Set my alarm for another hour, got up and took a quick shower and out the door to work. The world just had to deal with me without a shave today. Sleep sounded better. In my defense I didn't sleep well last night. Apparently I was snoring so I kept being jolted awake and told of that fact. I didn't hear anything, but SWMBO swears she did.

On a positive note this will put the Slim and Voskhod at 9 and against a two day growth in the morning. The weekend's on the way!

Sometime ago I bought her a lifetime supply of ear plugs. Now we both use them. Problem solved!

I unequivocally love all members of my family. But my aunt who is visiting is very special to me. She has always understood and accepted me (whether she agreed or not) as I am. we are going to have a fun week!
