Was anyone else half expecting this to be a thread about brushes? I'm waiting on one of Larry's in transit now...
Here's my old girl Maggie. She's 14 years old, we got her from the pound when she was a puppy. Next to my Rottweiler Sharky who passed many years ago this girl has been a great watch dog.
Sounds like the Cubans I know here in South Florida... I'm Puerto Rican, so of course I don't have those same problems! But I do like sitting around and smoking cigars! And eating ropa vieja.
was sent a few photo's by the proud owner of a litter Pups my Boy Oscar sired they are now 5 weeks old 75 % Bedlington X Lurcher, the Pups have all throw back to the Bedlington side 4 Boys and 3 Girls they look so lovely I just had to share them. I won't be having a pup from this litter as there are two pure bred Bedlingtons due to whelp in September that have also been sired by Oscar so hopefully sometime in the near future I'll get hold of one of my Boys Babies.
A couple pics of the dogs. Cherry and Kip. Cherry is a red merle Australian Shepherd. Kip is her son Blue Merle. Mouse in boots. He is dressed like Gene Simmons because he subflexated his pasterns (tore his wrist ligaments in humans) while jumping from a second story window to get to a dog in heat. He had to open a closed door and tear a screen from its frame to do this. But he gets around ok.
Thanks Lou, I wish I could get one over to you and Deb's I know they would have such a fantastic loving home.
I'm thinking about getting a second dog, so that way Caesar can have a companion. I have my eye set on a Black Mouth Cur that was brought into work as a stray. He's 2 years old, not skittish, he's very well trained, doesn't pull on the leash, and is just really chill. I'm hoping that he will help my dog with his boredom issues whenever I can't bring him to work with me. But on the other side, maybe I will have two dogs tearing up my stuff instead of one.
The only reason the windows were open was because a hurricane blew thru and it was during a two week power outage. We still open the windows in the winter but the door locks have been changed from arm knobs to locking round knobs so the dogs can't jump up and pop them open.
Smart move with the door knobs. I'm glad the dog didn't get hurt more than that, even though that sounds painful as hell.
This our mutt Taffy. She is about 10 years old and is a pound rescue when she was a pup. - Part beagle part basset all hound. She often acts like a cat, "I will curl up in your lap when I am good and ready"
My parents dog, ann. She and her now deceased brother, dan showed up 7-8 years ago when I lived at home and was working on a vehicle. I felt sorry for them and gave them food and they stuck around since
