I think you are right, from what I can tell, the blue case went to a pre flair SS.
They came in a day early, so I spent the night with a good Bourbon and cleaned them up. The one looks like it was a green handle, however, from what I found Gillette did not make a green handle SS. Bellow are the pics after cleanup. Everything works and cant wait to try them out...

My Zenith Pro Aluminum Boar arrived in today's mail. I'm looking forward to giving this lesser known brush a try.

Boar will not let you down! It looks like it has some backbone.

Oh it I think more than enough backbone, but at least the tips already feel pretty soft. It should be really nice once fully broken in. I really like the handle, nice classic shape but made of solid aluminum that gives the entire brush a nice hefty feel in my hand.

Solid Aluminum? Nice! Especially at those prices.

Yes the B2. The only difference in the the B1 is the finished loft.

Hit a few antique stores yesterday and today...picked up an absolutely awesome Heavy Tech, a near mint condition Gillette Black Handle Superspeed and finally found an Old Spice Mug. I was pleased on all counts...

Okay, I got this in from TSD. I ordered m bomb, vanilla soap with menthol, and one of those cookie bags. Amazed at what showed up! A large soap sample of what smells like jasmine, a nice bowl I'm going to use for it, two fragrance samples, a DNA which I will give to a friend and a Hugo Boss for me. Also, and this made me smile big, a Gem razor! Now I have to find blades and give this thing a go once the August 30 day focus is over! TSD shop, amazing! Thank you so much! Can't wait until Sunday's shave to try the soap and m bomb!

On further examination it is aluminum but I think it's made more like the vintage dubl duck brushes, aluminum around a core of something else. It's still very solid at 93 grams compared to my restored 400 boar at 71 grams. I'll post a review after I've used it several times.
