Another great shave with the Rocket! This razor is a joy to use. I cut my goatee off, kept the mustache I look 10 years younger. I rotated some brushes in/out haven't used the Sinpsons Berkeley 46B I some time! A fine brush.
Go out and get it.

 

A quality shave! I'm using a Personna in my shave today. We'll see if it has the edge over gillette silver blue

I decided to take a weekend break from my focus on the Slim to use my Gillette New LC. I broke the rule of not using multiple new items in one shave. This is my first time trying Ladas blades and my new Zenith Boar Brush. Thanks @david of central florida for the blades. The Ladas blades provided a very smooth and efficient 3 pass shave. I did have to touch up around my chin to catch the baby. The Tiki Cabernet Neroli has a wonderful scent of red wine and orange. I did have to go back and reload the brush after the first pass. This was an operator error with a new brush. The brush did shed 3 hairs or so but I expected that with the first use. I believe this will be a very good brush once it is fully broken in. The tips are already soft and starting to split. Finished off with the usual witch hazel followed by a splash of Fine L 'Orange. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Which one is the cream and which one is the soap? =)

I got 5 shaves from a gem Personna and After that the edge started to decrease. I have coarse bears. I could have done one sixth and final shave but Why push a blade right?

 

I got mine off of Ebay from the US importer. I have the B-02 but I see TVB has the B-01.

Leisurely morning shave using the FEON for the third consecutive day.
This morning's lather was thick, slick and went on like slippery enamel—a perfect base for a close, clean shave with this fine J-West razor.
Three-passes, plus touch-up…one small nick…finished with the bracing 'Snake Bite.' Overall a DFS!

The Arko is the soap stick, and the tube Proraso. I'm very partial to these two anyway but of all the combinations I've tried, this one is the most cushioning whilst still maintaining good lubrication.
Using my big boar brush, I give it a quick flick to take plenty of water out. If I start out with the brush too wet, it just billows everywhere, which doesn't suit my brush. It may of course be much different with badger.
Generally I would get five shaves out of the GEMs too but I think my beard has been softer recently, but my "Kyle's Method" preparation does wonders for blade performance anyway.
The 1914 will quickly show any blade issues much quicker than a 1912 or Clog Pruf will.

Nice easygoing shave today. Sometimes I think you need a Vacation after your Vacation. Whipped up the PdP with the Silvertip. I really like this brush. Another day with the FB, Ahhhh. It's weight does all the work and it sings a nice toon with a Feather blade. WTG XTG on my face and neck on 5. ATG on my neck on 3. Nice and slick and with my FB on 3 for my neck I can buff a little for a DFS. Great cucumber smell with the WH, and then some soothing JB. After cleanup some Vintage Old Spice from 1973. Have a good one y'all. That Gillette Fat Boy is a smooth operator.....
