the only thing that seemed to be broken was a tube of Yardley cream that had a broken cap. i threw in a few more blades and soaps since there was a little bit more room in the box (not much). It was like playing tetris to get it back in the box. gives: takes: i will try to keep the box moving and ship out Monday or Tuesday and I hope everyone has fun with the mystery of the box!
lol i was hoping it would still be in there Hi Karate is good stuff. I've seen on ebay that they have a Oriental Spice and a Lime one as well.
I will have to fight off beautiful women so hopefully i can remember the karate moves or i will be in big trouble
Jade East is also good stuff My dad had a bottle of it when i was a kid so it has been a long time but i remember it being a little bit more on the spicy side.
I seem to remember reading somewhere that Hai Karate was the "Axe" of it's generation. What razor did you put in there? Soviet or Chinese?
You can order both Hai Karate and Jade East from Vermont Country Store. Now whether they are the original formula is another question.
If so, it was likely because lots of guys tended to bathe in it, as they did lots of other brands, which the uninformed do today with Axe. My dad confirmed that the writers of Anchorman knew what they were talking about, at least on that point. HK in and of itself is/was no cheaper smelling that many drugstore frags at the time. A few were arguable worse; it's HK's deliberately goofy/tacky ad campaign (which worked!) that really gives it the sorry rep it now has.
Having remembered smelling both as a young lad, I can tell you the original Jade East smelled better. Avon Tai Winds is even a better version of Jade East. Darker notes. Nice.
