Great advice! My dad sent me off to college with an electric razor and it took me 40 years to wise up. I told him recently (he's 90) that I just took up DE shaving and he said "best shaves he ever had!" So get back to your son after he appreciates having to shave every day.
Reading your previous posts about these and the Executive piqued my interest. Thanks for the info you post on injectors. Can't wait to try this one.
I'd just put a new knot in there and hit the handle with orange oil to give it a nice shine, assuming the old knot can't be salvaged. I hope you don't mind. I set that picture as my wallpaper background on my phone. That's some good photography. My biggest fear is that "they" will sell my shaving stuff for what I told them I paid for it. I'm also waiting for one of these. http://m.ebay.com/itm/FATTY-NEW-VIN...ETIC-DEFECT-/261959319196?txnId=1668594010016 If anyone is envious, they have more. $13.93 + free shipping

I just couldn't wait for Larry to get back from vacation, so I ordered me two knots for VirginiaSheng. They may get here by the time Larry gets back from vacation. HA! I also ordered 3 knots from granvillage_green. The race is on. We shall see who gets here first.
Another large vintage razor arriving this week: from Sheffield, built in the Washington Works of George Wostenholm & Sons, circa 1848-1880; Hollow-notch nose, hollow-ground 7/8" blade; double-shoulder; original black horn scales and stacked brass washers. Rare to find these old Sheffield old razors with the original horn scales intact as usually there are cracks or splits that have developed around the hinge pin, particularly the large-bladed ones.
I pulled the trigger on a stahly live blade and rolls razor unable to get pics, y'all know I'll post on the haul, when they arrive.
My old type is at my local post office. Hopefully it comes today and they put it in the right box this time.
I have three 18mm badgers, one 20mm finest, and a 22mm silvertip I am waiting on from China. Two different suppliers.
True. Your hide gets sent off to the brush factory and the rest of you becomes General Tso's chicken.
teriyaki chicken on a stick, I've cut a lot of birds, never been able to place where those meat popcycles are from. ignorance is truly bliss.
