    Just curious..

We've all got our favorites among the t's, but in the end, which of the three makes the best shaving cream. Try to look past cost, or a personal favorite scent.... which manufacturer has the mechanics of a cream the most mastered as an entire product line.

While Trumper lime is my favorite, that opinion is heavily based on scent. I honestly think T&H has the slight edge on the three, although I think there scent selection is too heavy into the cologne scented creams. A few more single note scents would be a great addition to their line.

    TRUMPERS......TRUMPERS......TRUMPERS

I havent really ran across a bad batch of Trumpers creams. Im pretty much a fan of all their scents. It is a really "go to" cream that i use.

They are all made by creighton's, and their ingredients look eerily similar. Time to add a new option for the poll.

Going to go with Trumpers. When I was at T&H Toronto last week getting my hair cut I had a look and their Lime Cream which smelled terribly woody and was far too loose.

To date, the only loose cream i've found was a tub of taylor, but I believe all three have had problems.

Yeah they all did, but to varying degrees. I have heard of more soup pots of T&H than anything else.

Their C.A.R cream for hair on the other hand.. :1respect

Taylors almond was soup. Awesome soap though. All the rest are pretty much the same.

Just so you guys know, the runny soaps have been "rectified". To my knowledge, all new stock if good again.

Wonder if we could get 'em replaced? :D Actually, mine's not runny any more. The lid has a small crack in it (no idea when or how) and the soap hardened with exposure to outside air.

heh... good luck with that. Oddly, I preferred my runny taylor to the normal. I'm just weird like that.:ashamed001

It's not on the list but I'm voting for the "4th T". The Gentleman's Quarter.

I haven't tried Taylor's or Trumpers but I have tried the Ultimate Comfort shave cream from T&H and I think TGQ runs circles around it in regard to moisturizing effect, moisture retention, glide and quality of lather.

I haven't tried TGQ's creams but if they work as well as the soaps, then I'd have to agree. I was terribly disappointed with T&H. Taylor is just eh. I like the scents but the lather doesn't blow me away. I think it's a good buy - not a great buy.

To me, Trumper is king out of these three. All the things you look for in a cream can be found with their line. Some scents are more moisturzing than others but overall, you can't wrong. I know it's expensive but like CF and Harris, you don't need much.

I'm missing an "I love 'em all" option here so I went with TOBS - they're the cheapest of the bunch :D

Don't care for any of them.

I vote for DR Harris

  19. It's hard to say which T is best, but it's not hard for me to say which is the best value for money.

    Taylor's.

I'm with Mike on this one. AOS is also missing and probably manufactured by Creightons.
