A "100 Blade," Double Edge Razor Blade Variety Pack, from Sears! Here's something else I found while cruising for DE Razor Blades... http://tryablade.com A fella (or gal) can buy one/single 'different' Razor Blade, of the ones they have in stock (About 14/15 of them?) for just a few cents each, & have them mailed (US & Canada) for just a couple of Bucks! You can "MIX-n-MATCH-em" to your own delight! You all might ALREADY be 'In-The-Know,' herein; but, just in case some of you don't know...I'm 'Thinking-About-Ya's!' "Happy-Shavings!" Aw, shucks; I ain't that tall, YET! Hope I get my Razor Blades before that "Harpazo" Happens!"
My "FAT-BOY" arrived on 8-19-15. It's a Beauty. It's everything I hoped it would/could be. No rust or tarnish; clean and shiny, with very little wear. The Price WAS right, too! I let it sit in Barbicide for 20 minutes &then had a very enjoyable shave; which was as 'close' as I hoped for! 20 Vintage Razors, so far...!
The blade sampler thing? You can post links to it, no problem. Live auctions without a "buy it now" link are the ones that are prohibited. If it was something that you already edited out, don't sweat it.
Still waiting on the Gem 1912 from Washington State. It was supposed to arrive today but didn't. Tracking has it leaving Seattle on the 11th. That is the latest tracking info. Waiting is so hard... But I can do it.
F.W.Engels Leader. I've been enjoying using my straight and thought I'd add one to the mix while I'm waiting to win the one @HolyRollah is restoring for the TSD raffle.
In case you're wondering, the Cyrillic writing on the ladas box says "superstyle". I'm not Russian, I'm Serbian, but our Cyrillic fonts are very similar. Just thought you might want to know
Just put in my first ever 100 blade purchase. Gillette Silver Blues. And I finally ordered some tabac. En route to me now
I am going on vacation next month and planning on how to stuff the motorcycle so I ordered a leather case for my Jagger, a leather case for a cheap brush I've had but haven't used, Colnel Conk travel soap and a toiletry bag. I'll pick up a travel size deoderant and a soap case so I can bring some of my Amish soap (the stuff rocks, check it out on Amazon). I'm also waiting on some soap, m bomb, aftershave and a cologne sample from TSD.
I know they aren't. I had a Semogue 1438 and half the paint cracked off. I've heard that Semogue has started using a different lacquer that supposedly solved that issue, but I've strictly avoided wood since. A nice stabilized burl handle might tempt me, though... You lucky dog. I was wondering if anyone on TSD managed to snag one of those.
More by addiction accident than anything else I'm now waiting on my second, vintage travel brush. This one does however appear to have a knot I can actually use....hopefully...
