My dad is 77 but I asked him about it anyway...

Sounds about right from all I've ever heard but, never having smelled JE myself, I have no first hand idea.

Is that cheaper than a large flat rate box?

Yeah, I thought we were still using the large flat rate box.

my plans are to go through the box tonight, take, give, repack, keep things moving, and get it back out ... by monday at the latest but possibly tomorrow.

my best calculations show this box would be more than a flat rate. i picked up a flat rate large earlier this morning. a flat rate large is 12x12x5.5 while the current box is 12x12x12 plus a smidge. i've heard it's always a challenge to get the thing packed, but i don't know how it's all going to fit in a box that's half the depth of the current one. i shall give it my best, though!! tetris meets jigsaw anyone ... ?

yea sorry about the box I tried to make it all fit in but the box wouldn't close all the way and I didn't want things to get broken during shipping. I shipped it UPS which I believe was cheaper than USPS plus they included 1 day shipping at no additional cost so I figured I would spend an extra couple bucks to make sure it arrived safely and it can be switched back to flat rate once some things are taken out.

thanks for the quick delivery! no worries on the bigger box!! ... (see what i did, there?)

ups vs. usps is fairly close when using street addresses. the next destination is a po box, though. that brings a pretty substantial difference into play. i'll do my best to repack safely, effectively, and efficiently.

Please understand the box to ship in must remain a large flat rate box because that is the cost everyone is expecting. Let me emphasis to keep this this box for shaving related items only.

What has happen with the box was no one's fault and any person to place blame on. gmaugie007 and I have worked a solution I think will work for everyone. The non shave items will be donated to Joanna's raffle. Some of the surplus extras will go to making a newbie PIF Box.

If any one else has other suggestions please let know.

Guys do not be shy about taking items from the box that is what is for.

Remember, easily obtainable stuff like C.O. Bigalow, Maca Root Shave Cream, etc., if there isn't room for it, pull it out or buy those little travel jars ($1 for four at Wal*Mart) load them up and label them.

The purpose of the travel box is for people to get to try new stuff, more than it is to get full size products. Most of us can get the full size if we like the sample, but there's gotta be a sample to try first. :)

    Order of importance:
    Blades
    Soaps/creams
    Brushes
    Razors
    Aftershaves
    Preshaves
    Non-lathering shave creams

When getting rid of stuff to make it fit in the box, start at the bottom of the list and work your way up. *exceptions to this are when there is a lot of something and only a little of something else. Try to keep a balanced selection of stuff in there.
