I have used Tiger balm but I prefered Biofreeze. Works great on my bad knee. Sadly nothing seems to work for the damaged thigh.
I take Carlson's Fish Oil and/or Cod Liver Oil (Lemon) most mornings. I walk when I golf and although some of the hills are harder to clime these day I still making it. That reminds me I haven't take any yet this morning.
I'm happy to say, at 58, I honestly have no aches or pains. My wife asked me one day, "Don't you wake up with things hurting?". I said "No.". She didn't speak to me all day.
I can offer two other products I've used; 1)matecca de ubre- it's a linament originally designed as treatment for cows udders. it works pretty good for me for muscle and joint issues. 2) Tylenol precise- very nice stuff, it like icy hot,(milder scent) but I think it's got some Tylenol in the creme. smells like tic tac's to me.
I'm 50 in a couple of weeks and the family is prone to arthritis. I have so far dodged that bullet. I'm lucky that way. It's funny, the wife and I have the same doctor. She's always giving the wife directives. Me? I don't even get the Digital Rectal Examination (a high tech name for a low tech procedure) any more. SWMBO gets angry every time I go. "Nothing's wrong with you"?!?!? Now, the teeth, they're a far different story. I'm breaking in a new DDS. He's one of those "gentle" dentists, always asking if I am okay when he's working. I finally had to stop him and point at my X-rays on the display above and told him, "You see how much chair time I have? I'm fine. Just go!" SWMBO is always giving me grief about the amount of money it takes to retain my teeth.
Going through the new dentist routine as well. Lets just say we have some office issues to straighten out before he will even be allowed to drill.
