So, much like some others have experienced, this morning I found myself logged out of TSD. I figured I was either banned for passionately arguing against soap blooming (just kidding) or that I had received a CT. So, I logged back on and hoped for the latter! The culture on TSD is what makes it so special amongst hobby forums. This is a culture that is fostered through hours of presumed thankless labor on the part of @Queen of Blades and her team of Mods and staff. I really appreciate all that goes in to this site. It is an amazing resource on the razor hobby, and a place that makes it easy for newbies to join in the fun. I would like to especially thank @RaZorBurn123 for helping me understand how to get the most out of my visits to these pages. He spent much time on me when I was a newbie, and his advice and counsel to me were invaluable, whether he knew it or not. In fact, he spends a ton of time on newbie stuff in general. Thanks Kerry! This site is blessed with a dedicated team of Mods, and a passionate group of members. Good moderation and user content and support are what make forums work! Thanks to all of the Mods for their efforts here! You guys are the best in the biz. I would love to list every user and moderator that I have ever interacted with individually, but I would surely leave someone out. The help I received here with wet shaving has changed my days for the better and brought joy along with it. I am happier and more optimistic than ever before in life, you all had a small hand in that! For me, the process of switching to DE/SE has actually been life transforming. My complexion during cartridge days was so awful that I finally grew a beard, which I wore for years, to hide my face. It bugged me more than I ever let on, because I actually wanted to be clean shaven, but lacked the confidence. Now, I look forward to shaving daily, and it is due to the knowledge of shaving and skin care that I learned exclusively from TSD user generated content. I face the world in a confident way now, without worrying about a bumpy, red and painful face. Again Thanks to everyone who contributes to TSD! Sorry for the long, sappy read. Thanks to the Queen and the committee! I will wear my CT proudly, and with love for all who linger here. It was a surprise and an honor to see that beneath my avatar this morning. And I shall always strive to remain focused!
