I do believe that's correct Sir....The early E & G Types are not recommended for these as they have tighter heads.....I have also been informed that they are not suitable for the Hydromagic models either...They are not good to go with PAL injectors either...I use NOS Gillette Trac 11 Twin Injector blades in my Schick Adjustable and my Personna 11 Floating Head Injector and they excel with them.....I find that the twin blades can hardly be felt on the face and they offer a really smooth shave....I have heard some folks say that they got clogging problems with them...I don't get any problems with clogging....I have never bothered with a Gillette Trac 11 Injector as they are probably the mildest injectors around...They were designed to be used with surgically sharp blades and the Trac 11 blades are indeed surgically sharp....I have been informed that the Japanese Schick Twin Injector Blades are excellent .....;)
Twin injector blades sure rock my boat.....:chores016:

Here are pics of the three Types of E 2s in the order that a described them above....;)

The early Type E 2 on the left is NOS and it has the alternative rough finish to the Smooth Plating.....The earlier Type E 2 is the most aggressive of the three as the head has a steeper angle of attack compared to the others and it does make a significant difference ...:chores016:

My first shave with an injector tonight, a Model I that I picked up on eBay. Really a nice shave! Really efficient but forgiving. Looking forward to many more with it, and already starting to keep my eye out for a deal on an E or G.

Congrats on the I type Chuck.....The 'I' has been a favorite of mine ; for many reasons; for well over 1/2 my life...

Glad you enjoyed your first shave with an Injector....The G Types are lovely shavers as are the E Types ....Some of the E Types have a tendency to bite when provoked, but I find that they are very smooth & forgiving with Chinese Schick Injector Blades.... :chores016:

Well, Crap! You fellows have started my Schick RAD up again! Now I have got to find myself another Type L, I gave mine away for some reason awhile back.:angry019: Thinking of searching for one of these. Really like the look even if it is a lady razor.

Here is my Schick Hydro-Magic after the tenth shave this morning on the same blade. Coupled with a Chinese Schick blade and VDH Deluxe soap, 10 really close, comfortable shaves.

Well...I received my three Hyro Magics. One is gold in OK condition, two is gold and looks like somebody took sand paper to the handle a bit,(dopp bag for this one)and the other to my incredible joy is CHROME and minty. Can't wait for the morning shave!
