  6. I got drug store brand( don't know the difference) then I added several drops of tea tree oil in it.
I like to use it if I get too wild with a razor, rather, any sign of irritation.
I spray it on from a repurposed spray bottle.
    I think it's very cooling.

  7. I don't think there is very little difference, but getting drugstore cheaper stuff is not an option for me.

Does it work that well? That's awesome!
  8. it it's very cooling, but witch hazel smells funny
  9. I just received these three pure badger knots from granville_green in china. They got here in 10 days. That is some record for me. Knots from Texas take longer.

  10. The unscented variety smells like charred newspaper. But it fades quickly.

Edit: I quite like the smell. It grows on ya.
  11. Feather Artist Club SS ..;)

    Another shot...:)

I got my Feather SS in the post yesterday .I enjoyed my first shave with my newly acquired Feather SS Club...I have never used anything like a straight razor before, but I found this quite intuitive to use... I got a couple of scrapes on my neck but I got a really nice smooth shave with it...I have noticed that you need to keep these things moving as they can really dig in...New learning curve...I really enjoyed using the SS and it will be my Go razor until I get the hang of it for the foreseeable future..;)

    Nine, nice, nice...:chores016:o_O

  12. I use witch hazel every day and after every face wash, regardless if I shaved or not. I think it is good stuff. The smell soon stopped worrying me, and I prefer the funky smelling one to the scented one from Thayers.
What did you pay for it and where did you buy it?

  13. I got it off amazon and I payed 120kr including shipping =) it was a very nice price
  14. Very nice!

  16. I am really impressed with these things...I had another 2 passer with it today....Nice shave....These make an excellent 2 pass daily shaver you wouldn't believe...They don't get as deep and close as a decent SE mind you but they are ever so smooth and comfortable.....The Feather Injector blades for these are lovely sharp blades as well although they wouldn't look near NOS Schick/Gillette Platinum Blades....;)
Everything Feather gets hyped out of all proportion by some Forum users ....:chores016:

  17. I used a cheap, poorly designed shavette once and have sworn to never use one again :)

  18. This is hardly a cheap poorly designed shavette. I wouldn't even call it a shavette. You need to try one

  19. Errr....My brother has a number of traditional straights and he reckons that there is no traditional straights that can or will be as sharp as these Feather Straights....They are nothing like a shavette.....He only shaves with traditional straights because he enjoys the rewards of Honing & Stropping your own....
This traditional straight razor user from Denmark says the same...:chores016:
  20. Yeah, they sure are quality lifetime built ....:chores016:
