Ever had one of those days where you feel you're really busy...but then when you stop to think you realize that you're not actually achieving much?
That's my day. And it's only 10am.

You can't complain about that. Vegas isn't hot until it reaches 114, and besides, every place has the AC blasting!

Tomorrow is police day for me. I will be calling a friend at work, to get her home number so I can talk to her husband (still with me?). Her husband is a federal agent and I have a few questions about placements after getting accepted to the RCMP. Then at 6pm I have a recruitment seminar for the municipal police. I am an accountant by trade, but after having nothing but crappy experiences for the last 5 years, and the last 3 employers treating me as a disposable employee...I am looking into other lines of work.

Oh! And I received approval for a police ride along next Friday. So that day I will be shadowing a cop while he's on duty. I'm stoked!!

Been fighting some type of infection all week, fever, chills, aches etc. I think I'm getting close to getting over it.

Last 3.5 hours of my shift before an eleven day vacation. Not much planned, just some R&R and maybe camping.
