Ha! we have a winner! (Oops, causing confusion now...) I don't mean we have a winner of the PIF. I just meant the name-that-tune reference with cmorris357. Sorry Chris, I'm still not in. Please don't take the cookie back.
I've lived within an hours drive or so from the Moon Pie bakery all my life and I'm just reading in that article that they have a salted caramel flavor. What a time to have diabetes.
I thought Frosted oranges and chili dogs from the Varsity cured diabetes? If not, try barbecue. It cures everything.
We shall just look the other way as we hand you a cookie, and you walk past the Moon Pie display. Just this once...
The rolling plains and hills of North Georgia, near Rome, I believe. As a child, my family often stopped in that town for barbecue on the way to my Mom's parents near Atlanta.
http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/shave-school-master-stick Hmmmm.....well ok, as long as he's "not in" we don't have to worry about some far-removed relation with the PIFer that would violate the "non-relative" rules of a TSD-sanctioned PIF.
Barbecue is a miracle drug. When I go get my blood checked the nurse often says "what smells like hickory smoke in here"?
I will confirm I am not in. I own an injector, I'm also on the waiting list for both the Mongoose and the new Injector on kickstarter. I'm just here for cookies Moon Pies, and comic relief.
Yes, Rome. Our official motto is: Where the rivers meet and the mountains begin. Do you happen to remember the name of the BBQ joint they ate at?
Whoa, parallel universe - I signed up for the kickstarter injector as well. As a result I'm still sitting on my official order email on a Mongoose! Say, have we officially hijacked @Bama Samurai s thread?
Yes, there is a Sonny's on Shorter. It's a chain outfit but not bad. Actually my current favorite is a 2 hour drive away in LaGrange. Roger's BBQ. We drive by there a couple of times a year on the way to Panama City. The BBQ there will make you weep tears of joy.
When I lived down south, the nurse took a blood sample to type my blood. Doctor came in the next day and told me my blood type was Old No. 7.
This was in the eighties. I have no idea. My home joint is Big Cove BBQ in Owens Cross Roads AL. It's a BBQ shack in all the best ways. If the place has more than one column of entree choices, it's not a BBQ joint. It's a restaurant.
