As for my day: did some red painting for the tram museum I do some volunteer work for. Drove there on my moped. Was a nice ride (only 22 km/13 miles away). A sunny day is always nice! In the background is the Grevelingen lake, the largest salt water lake of The Netherlands. When I returned home, SWMBO, my son and my daughter had just finished placing the dvd's/BlyRay's and CD's in the new stands we made last week. Three walls were painted white, a new work desk was set up (along with painting the drawer boxes), new board were painted and put up, the early 18th century school desk where the children did their school work when they were younger was repainted, relocated and turned into a multi-media station (containing the stereo, BluRay player, cable TV unscrambler and playstation1 - yes! One! ) and the TV set was hung on the wall. Work desk (still some tidying up to do) : New DVD/BlyRay/CD wall (the gerbil pen was cleaned as well): The TV station with the 18th century desk. When the desk is opened (left side is open in the pic) the remote controls can be used . The rest of the house is a mess, but we all are very satisfied with the results of the last week!
You've been busy. Your house looks great. I really like kthe old desk. You volunteer in a tram museum, very cool. I volunteer at a fire engine museum.
Been a bit stressed lately. I've been helping at a local fire engine museum. Basically I'm helping with their website, but this job is way way bigger than I thought it would be and a bit out of my depth. Well yesterday was a big day as we decided to make the website I've been working on the official website of the museum. This meant sorting out servers and contacting host masters. Stuff I know nothing about. Made even harder by the fact that no one knows the user name or password. Simple I'll just get a new password sent to the bosses e mail account. But he can't remember the password for that e mail account. Luckily I guessed the password and got it all set up. It's not finished I still have a lot of pictures and text to add, but I'm proud I've achieved something.
This is my day. Everyone has got flue/cold... Apart from me. I'm fine. But the only respite I get is when they all crash out on me. The wife is in bed feeling terrible. My three girls are just clinging, and the boy. Poor little thing he's burning up with fever. Just glad I don't feel ill. Or it would be hard work!!
