The more I look at that button, the more I think it was something someone shoved in there because they didn't like the hole in the bottom of the razor. Perhaps it is a part from a broken cufflink or something.
Not that I can see. Nothing on the head and nothing on the inner tube(s). All I can see is the "PAT APPLD FOR" mark.
I've traded emails with Achim "Mr-Razor" in the past and just sent him a link to this thread. Will be interesting to hear his take on it.
Here is the explanation. http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/another-gillette-single-ring-cleaning-picture-heavy.25538/
If we have any firearm knowledgeable here - could the button-end on that handle be a bullet casing stuck at the end of it? Would have to be a rather tiny caliber though...
It's not a bullet casing. The button you keep pushing to make my garage door go up and down would correspond to the primer in a bullet, and would be firmly seated, not spring loaded as that one seems to be.
Thanks that's really interesting. There is a difference on the knurling on the bottom part of the tube handle and the main handle just like on mine.
Ah so it IS a super secret agent device then. Thanks for confirming! Btw, just opened your garage door again
I missed the spring loaded part. That means it's a blasting cap. I still need to see the numbers to determine the detonation sequence. It could be as little as 12 pushes.. Be careful.
