Summer ain't over yet - not by a long shot. We're still getting plenty of warm weather. Here's my set-up for tomorrow!

Oh, I know someone who's going to freeze his face off and have so much fun doing it, and that someone is ME. The Glacial Obsidian soap is TEN times colder than the Black Ice although they both smell very similar and have the same awesome lather and skincare. The Glacial Wintergreen balm and witch hazel are both so frigid and soothing - no other aftershave products I've used can beat them.

The C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #18 Silver Tip brush. Two passes with my Gem Push-button razor and a GEM Stainless SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

The new Jayaruh #18 brush with the Virginia Sheng silver tip knot performed flawlessly with the C.O. Bigelow Shave Cream. It made lots of lather and was very soft. I am going to enjoy using this new silver tip.

I am sensing a pattern here. Question Mr. Ambassador: When was the last time you didn't freeze whilst shaving?

 

Gorgeous Chubby. The handle is awesome.

 

Do you notice any resemblance between Vintage Williams and AOS Tallow soaps? I find them very similar, especially the tallow (fatty/meaty) smell.

Monday Morning Shave

My second time trying to use a shavette after a year the first trial was with a cheap "sedef" shavette which you can find one in every Turkish barber saloons. As it has lack of balance and needs more experience I wasn't able to finish my first trial a year ago and this time my shave was better. I could shave both of my cheeks closely and without having any nick! I like the ability to control this "j.a.d" shavette but it's evident that I need more practice because I couldn't deal with the chin area. My face's thickest hairs are there and I couldn't move an inch there. Then I picked one of my favorite gun, gillette slim and had a really close shave in a minute. I took the same shavette to do some touch ups and I was successful this time because my 2.5 day facial hair was gone thanks to gillette slim and it was no problem for that shavette to let me get a BBS!
Great shave in short, no nick, irritation or weeper, just good! I understood that I'm really ok with my DE razors but for some touch ups and nostalgia I can get this shavette

today's shave was chilling. catie's bubbles is top notch. gen4 synthetic soft as a cloud,or a velvet blanket, as the chart reads. it's next level for sure. the progress, if you know,I don't have to tell you. if you don't, I'll just say, wow. finished with the rubby dubby do. I'm still freezing.

Stirling MITA today. Easy, thick, lather with the oscar11 badger. Gillette “Spoiler” SS still in the Fatboy. Great smooth, close, shave. I finished with Proraso Green AS.

Very nice shave, S'more smells so good. One of the best products I added this year to my morning routine has been Gold Bond Ultimate, it dries in 15 seconds, great moisturizer, healing. It's nice to wake up to a nice shave.
