It never occurred to me either, when I started here, how bad (?) an influence that being on this site would be - since many on here came from the "getting away from cartridges will help me save money" perspective. HA!

I can't blame the enablers though, I developed my Acquisition Disorders all on my own!

I thought this was how it works: I spend money on wet shaving paraphernalia so that I can save money on carts. Isn't this sound logic?

Great shave tonight, however, this brush is a hair loser. DFS so all is good. Was going to use #8 setting tonight, but I forgot. I will do this tomorrow. Have a good night.

Heck, I can only shave every other day. My skin won't take daily shaves.

 

Surely it was merely a weeper and not cut to the quick.

I'm on a mission to get a better shave with my Slim set on 9, and today's shave was the best yet. I loaded a new blade and checked the alignment (perfect) and exposure (plenty). I paid extra attention during the whole shave, and I skipped the touch-ups. All things considered, I was very happy with the result. A close, comfortable shave with no nicks or weepers. Two more shaves with the Slim, and I'll move on to my Mongoose for my September focus.

 

And here's a Kentucky tie. I'll take a 10-piece bucket, extra crispy.

 

I really should be shaving every other day also, but if I don't get crazy and go with a 4,5,6 pass shave I'm okay. 3 & out..

If we ever have a TSD meet-up, I already have my tie picked out.

 

That also doubles as a New Mexico neck tie.

 

When I have to shave daily on business trips, I do single pass, and still have major irritation by day three.
