Here in Washington state, I vacationed last week in Canada just north of those horrible wildfires. The last day of our trip the wind shifted and covered the area in a thick haze. My asthma kicked in and I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Hoping for relief for you and your wife Kerry. And all affected by the fires as well.
Odd day. Ended up having a very Californian lunch with In-N-Out (double-double animal style) and an "It's It" (fellow Californians knows what that it ) icrecream from their factory shop. Second part of the day was very productive. And in the evening I did my nurse-cook-'duties' for my friend. A pretty good day all in all. Got two packages in the mailbox but ended up being too tired to go and pick them up so they'll be for tomorrow
I used to drive by their factory, next to 101, every day for years and you can smell the chocolate from the highway. Yesterday was the first day I went there. (The coffee flavored one is great btw....)
Survived my 3 month job performance review. Got "Meets Expectations" in every area but one. Got "Exceeds Expectations" in Human Relations. Not too shabby, I suppose. They want to start discussing my plans for training and personal development. Sounds like I'm looking ahead to some edumacation.
My 14 year-old Blazer just failed inspection. It's completely rotted out underneath. Looks like I'll be riding the bus for a while.
Thank you! Unfortunately my wife and I have some experience with health issues due to a bout with cancer I had several years ago. It definitely teaches you about what is important in life and about your faith. You also learn how positive attitudes really do make a difference in physical health.
