I bit on a fat handled Tech with the triangular holes on the baseplate. Nickel (?) plated. Seems like most I've seen are gold.



Needs a little clean up, but looks like it's in pretty good shape.

Just ordered a bunch of stuff from The Shave Den Shop.

 

Pretty excited about.....a mug.
But in all fairness a, to me, pretty special mug.
It appears to be the very first Old Spice mug model - the pottery mug w/ The Grand Turk ship made in Hull.
If so that would date it to about 1938-1944 (so earlier than those fancy glass ones that came out in 1948 ).

Sure the mug has a lot of crackling but the colors are really nice I think.

 

Got to start collecting mugs to go with all those brushes?

I ordered a tin of soap on Etsy, from a seller named Tallus. Goats milk, a bunch of other great ingredients with the scent being pink grapefruit.

 

I would love to see a review on this one. I'm a grapefruit fan.

 

The razors needed brushes...the brushes need mugs.... the mugs will need....uh? Soap!

 

The soap will need a compatible After Shave

 

I'm waiting for the knot I just ordered from TGN. 3 band synthetic for my new handle.

 

Sweet! Do you have the epoxy to shove in there before you plop the knot in? (see how I am using all correct knot-setting terms)
