On our recent trip to Alabama we were trying to get to a little country church and the GPS had us going down this little one lane county road. Then we came to a one lane wooded bridge. Welcome to Alabama.
We eventually made it to the church. There is a cemetery there where my grandparents, aunts and uncle, and cousins are buried. There are three graves marked unknown. I saw a couple that were buried in 1902. The church building has really modernized since I was last there in the 60s. It now has vinyl siding and air conditioning with a "forever metal roof." I remember trying to stay cool with funeral home fans.

Gary the Horse was taken about two or three miles from where I live, just a walk into hills around the Welsh valleys where local people have for centuries kept their Horses they are a known breed called section A Welsh Mountain ponies quite wild and untamed most of them. http://www.welshpony.org/
I haven't been out and about for a while, but I have been in my back yard, so I hope you forgive if I post a few pictures of one of my favourite subjects, flowers.
