    Outstanding shave his evening. Outstanding is better than DFS, but not quite BBS. :) IMHO, I really like the Synergy Bay Rum Soap, and the Captain's Choice Bay Rum A/S. The slight glitch in the shave is this brush. I believe it has to much loft for a Silver Tip brush. This makes it very floppy and a little difficult to apply soap. I have a few Silver Tip brushes and I don't have any issues with them. I set those brushes myself and 49-50 is my max. the Gillette Slim setting for me is #7. I get a very close and comfortable with that setting.

    Damn, just before I showered with the Glacial Spearmint bath soap and let me say this - it can FREEZE you to Kingdom Come and then some. The shaving soap version is BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR-Cold and beautiful with such awesome lather and that delicious, bathroom-filling scent. The Stirling products I've tried are all so skin-friendly. I wish that I wouldn't have waited so long to get the Glacial Spearmint balm and witch hazel because they're both sold out, but the Glacial Wintergreen versions are also magnificent. A super-nice BBS and frigid shave awaits me! ;) :D

    The Col. Conk Bay Rum Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Bethleham Olivewood Silvertip brush. Two passes with my Gillette President razor and a Personna SS blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, alum block, and a final cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayers Lemon WH and then Pinaud Clubman after shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Sundays shave. I have always bowl lathered TOBS. But after reading a post here I tried to face lather. I was amazed what a great lather I got which led to a nice relaxing shave.
