Looks like I am in excellent company of people having good shaves lately! I have to admit I started out kinda rough, but lately with the time spent on the razor it really has paid off! Hoping to keep it up with different blades and then in October with a different razor for the first time. Thanks again for all the advice and encouragement! Hope you keep having excellent shaves too!
A HA! Well done @cmorris357 After much searching we've found evidence of the @Darkbulb Cellar Vaults! Next mission, find the location....
Great surveillance Agent 357! All we need do now is find the last working phone booth in the country!
Looks like it is time to head to Prairie Grove, Arkansas. I was fully expecting it to be near a cookie shop. Oh well. http://www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/47257
Razor: Valet Auto Strop/ Red Tip(2 blade) Blade: Feather (2) Brush: WDC-4 Silver Tip Badger Butterscotch Handle (VIG) 24/67 deep set Soap: Proraso Green A/S Fine L'Orange Noir Day 2 Second day with the Valet. Went a little bit better tonight, however, I have to do a major cleanup with the Red Tip. The Valet is sure a noise razor. Anyway got through 2 passes okay.
September 2 Batch 2 Mongoose with Dr. Bomber handle Feather Professional blade (4) Shavemac two-band silvertip brush Trumper's Coconut cream and glycerin Two passes plus touch-ups Thayer's Lavender witch hazel, unrefined shea butter, and Trumper's Coral Skin Food I really enjoy using this set up, as it consistently delivers great shaves! The Feather blade on day four felt smooth and was still very sharp. Lather explodes off the Shavemac brush. I started using my travel scuttle again after taking a break from it during August, and the warm lather feels great. I finished off the shave with Terre d'Hermes parfum. I bet I'm the only guy in Kentucky that used parfum this morning and is brave enough to admit it publicly. I hope you all are having a fine week!
Oh how I remember pay phones. Back when I was a kid in New Jersey we'd get in one to keep warm from the blizzard that was well before global warming.
well done Agent wmbjr! but I think the phone booth in the surveillance video was located indoors. That crafty Cookie Hoarder! This may be a job for Agent RaZorBurn123 who evidently has some past training in this sort of thing. I believe that's him second from the top! (or perhaps third from the top with his, um, back facing us.)
So September 2 Blade: Walgreens club 35 (2) Razor: r41 Brush: semogue 1250 Soap/AS: chiseled face ghost town barber Must've been off my game tonight. Blade seemed to drag a little. More water in the lather. Super super slick but it just seems to drag a bit more than the GSB. Oh well I'll give it another go tomorrow. 3 passes and done. One little tiny blood spot. Not exactly sure how I did that. Might have actually yanked out a hair lol. Felt a real quick tug at that time
I've done that before. What a disaster that was. I can't tell how many people are in the phone booth, when I did it back in high school we got 7. I took up most of the space at 6'4" and 220lbs. I was always on the bottom of Pyramids and such.
