That is a beauty. That is the one I started out shaving with in the 60s. Not the purple one, the black one. Maybe the purple one was aimed at the ladies.
The Micromatic came in yesterday. Cleaned up nice and shiny. :mail: The Brush... the Jayaruh #14 AKA "The Barrel." A gift from my good friend here at TSD, @Jayaruh, came in the mail today. I was like a little school boy going the chocolate shop when I opened the mail box. Thank you, Jim. I am overwhelmed. I can buy a lot of whine with the million dollar bill he sent along with it.

A bottle of Quorum EdT and a bottle to treat a couple of vintage, wooden shaving brushes. Tried the Quorum this morning and got the comment "what's that medical smell?" from someone... Sadly I agree - it's a terrible scent and it's going back.
Also got this, to me, pretty neat vintage SOLID SET brush that looks like its in pretty good condition. Came with the original bakelite tube for it.
At least the feed 'n' wax smells good. I almost went for that one. I decided to lay off the brush collecting for a bit.
