Seriously, is it better? I've been looking at aftershaves and stayed away from Old Spice because I didn't like the smell of it anymore.
    How do you order it?

Well at least you weren't longing for a bottle of Hi Karate.

I just got a couple vintage bottles of Brut, and I have to say, it is good stuff. I have never bought the modern version... It may be the same, or different, I don't know. But this original mix surprised me. Smells great on my skin, and lasts a long time with an interesting range of fragrance as it mellows. All good. Shocking because I always hated the smell in the bottle when I was younger.

Oh man, that made me laugh. I sympathize 100%... vodka based pirate breath is the magic scent that I associate with my dad also.

I got two standard size, full bottles of Shulton original formula Old Spice on eBay for $20 shipped. They were either buy it now, or nobody else bid, I can't recall, but totally worth it. I checked the awesome Old Spice collectables site to try and figure out the age... mine are from between 1956/67. Well worth it!

The best and only remedy for the impulse to buy current Old Spice is to smell original Old Spice. There is a difference.
