Crikey, these are good looking brushes. But quite pricey. At least on the bay. Is that where you are getting yours?
Well, I know at least one of us (not me...) walked into an antique store and walked out with a near-new one for 20-30 bucks....
I'll be two. I got mine for twenty five at an antique store. didn't look new, however. I really wasn't happy with it until Clint transformed it into the beauty it became.
Here is my first brush restore. I got a lot of helpful advise from Clint and he was kind enough to send me a Kydex plug that I used with epoxy putty to make a shelf for the knot. 24mm TGN silvertip set to about 52mm.
Saw it but decided against it as I have two. Both are 3's though...would like a 4 one day. Also got something expensive in my cross hair this week and have put an end on all other bidding until that one is over.....
Congrats, I'm jealous! But aside from the cool looks and what appears to be a great ergonomic handle...can someone tell me some other advantages of the brush, aside from the rarity?

Nah that's pretty much it. Cool looking collectable, but probably not any better performance than many modern brushes. It'll look good on the counter and be used frequently. That's about all you can ask out of a brush.
