just now getting to the party, and it's already the 3rd (barely) ...

i don't have an SE to use for this focus. however, i was quite fortunate to come across a birthday SS flair tip in the Nationwide Box Tour#2. so, i'm gonna conduct a blade focus with my new razor.

the goods:
pre: dr.bronner's, PSO(diy)
brush: omega 10065 boar
lather: proraso green/red soap
razor: gillette I2 SS flair tip
blades: Top 10 Sampler Plus One
post: alum block, thayer's witch hazel (various flavors)



i'll be going through the blades in alphabetical order. my first two shaves are already in the books ... with the Astra SP.

i'll catch up soon with those details.

I forgot to mention I had a shave buddy this evening. My daughter joined me for a couple of passes. She says it's good for her skin. She wouldn't let me take a picture of her all lathered up, but here's one of her doing homework with the dog.

Why thanks! I just had one of those days. It was two pass automatic, but definite and visible jawline and mustache and neck irritaion. I am just gonna get back to basics tomorrow. I'll get there.

 

And at least you'll never forget what you posted for your 1000th.

 

Oh my, parallel universe. My daughters' puppy at 2 months, he's 9 months now. Looks pretty similar.

Have you tried the TSD Aftershave Milk? I haven't yet but intend to soon. Seems like the ingredients would be great for a cool off from a rough shave.

i agree and I'm due to get a full bottle of the unscented soon so I can use it with any AS.

 

Did that the other day. When I broke out the demon... I mean r41 I could still see the spots that were irritated a few hours after. Remembered my nivea balm 2 days later...

 

I hate to admit this, but that was a very good idea that I wish I had thought of myself.

I am in love with the Bourbon Vanilla scent so that will be what I get first. Who am I kidding I will be getting the unscented now too.

 

I learned the hard way...ordered a bottle of something I thought I'd like (and didn't). Now I do samples first, but wanted the unscented milk for all my nonTSD AS.
