Blade is up to 9 smooth shaves! I think, considering, I found a Drug Store couple towns over that sells Schick blades for $5.85 a pack. Schick is cheaper per shave than DEs are for me.

I just finished a week with my I-2. All great shaves. It is a wonderful little razor.

Today I used my other Schick/Eversharp E type with a new Schick blade. This razor is a beast. Very close with razor burn. I new it was going to be a different shave after the first pass, and I backed off on the pressure, yet I still ended up hurting. Here is a photo of 4 of my Canadian Schicks showing the blade exposures.

I was able to reproduce good results on the past two shaves, and am starting to see the attraction to these earlier injectors. They seem to produce an SE BBS feel for me that seems longer lasting than any DE so far... :happy088: The irritation issue improved after I adjusted my technique to more deliberate light strokes. It just peels the whiskers off. Were I to chase BBS on one lather-up, this razor would be a candidate.

You got that right! Seems so many people agree on that one...The I2 is a charmer, folks who like mild and folks who like aggressive all kind of come together on this one....She has the look, the personality and talk about her moves in the Shave Cave......:love029:

Here is the Former Heavy Weight Champ: image.jpg
And here he is in the cave getting ready for tonights Shave-Off: image.jpg
Here is tonight's Challenger waiting to enter the Shave: image.jpg
We started with a HOT whisker rinse, then Cash's Bay Rum Shave Soap.
The Champ made a WTG pass on the left side of my face...
    The Challenger, the Right.....
The Right Side was one pass BBS, the Left no where close....
The Champ was wheeling, couldn't believe it....The Champ tried to rally with XTG strokes in several directions...a little buffing and j hooking....Moustace area under nose perfect, sides of moustace area still needing touch-up....The right side moustace area has babies crying in a jealous rage from the first pass...

The Champ is down he's getting back up...makes a desperate attempt at a 3rd ATG pass...While the Challenger does a light ATG touch up that leaves the Right side feeling as though it hasn't hit puberty yet...The left side has a missed patch here and there........Ohhh Nooo!!!....is that a weeper there on the left side of the neck area?...I'm afraid so...For those who remember the champs better showings, this is a sad night...

The Challenger cleans up her victory with a clean up pass over the entire face....So that both sides of the face could feel as good as the Schick's corner....She's adding insult to injury...Such a quick light clean up pass leaves everything absolutely, shiney BBS.

Whew! Tonight was a shocker...We thought it might be close. And actually the odds were a little in the OCMM's corner...But the Schick E2 took tonight's Shave Off with Surprising ease...This wasn't even close....To tell you the truth, I didn't know she had it in her....But now that we've seen what she can do...The up coming Shave Off between the Schick E2 and the ER 1914 could go either way...Im expecting a closer match than tonight's lopsided victory though....

Until, next time...Gentlemen and Ladies...."Start Your Prep" "Lather Up!" Shake Brushes And lets have a "Clean Shave"...

Most of the E class will have a higher level of aggressiveness than say a J.
BTW: Some may be accidentally adjusted due to time and storage methods so you can get a vintage razor that does not act like the majority of its classmates due to that reason.

Because the Twin Injector blade tends to be a "rare bird" in the overall traditional shaving realm we will treat them as SEs as well because it behaves like an amplified single edge rather than two distinct blades.
