Calio Trapani stamped on one side and Bohler Stahl on the other 6/8 restored by Holyrollah - I love this razor, Kevin did his own thing and it is exactly what I wanted. He did a beautiful job
    Le Pere Lucien
    Floid Blue
Brushcraft handle by Chris Trimble in Brazilian rosewood & imitation ivory that I put my own knot in - a Franks Shaving 28 mm silvertip. It is fast becoming my fav brush

glad to see you're enjoying the razor, Lou! You're taking some lovely shots with that new camera!

My restored '$20 antique store find' big Wostenholm— one of the better razors I've truly enjoyed using!

For my own shave today, I used this hefty 8/8", half hollow grind classic blade from Koraat in Austria:

    Thanks David!
I have to get this sorted, the pleasure is all in the pics.. I assume it has to do with privacy/visibility settings on my image host.

Edit: Have changed just now and uploaded through Tapatalk, it seems to be working as I can now see all the pics I've posted since yesterday.

I agree—and I'm not the sort who ever goes gaga over shave brushes.
But that handle and knot does make a lovely combo!

Well, before becoming a regular on TSD I had one boar and a Thater silvertip. After seeing all the beautiful brushes I now have about 7 boars and 12 badgers lol

    Dubl Duck Goldedge round point
Proraso red soap in old spice
    Shulton mug
Simpson special S1 best badger brush

Started great this morning. Had strop cleaned and conditioned ready for the day's use. Was finally able to get the soap out of the plastic container and put in the mug. All was good, then..I nicked the blade. A little tape, and a few passes on the Arkansas stones, 20 passes on web and leather and crisis avoided. BBS shave. Success

Yeah, if you zoom in you can see the stupid expression of my face. Like Charlie Brown concentrating on something difficult, tongue on upper lip, etc...:D

BTW Kevin, it seems my tracking data says you have not only a package in the mail, but more importantly, an impending date with destiny.
