Add the Sleep, subtract the RedBull, and keep the Waffle house breakfast and you should be rebalanced!
So took a day off from shaving to regroup from several lackluster and very irritating shaves. Took out the Walgreens blade. Threw in a GSB. Lathered up some chiseled face and boom! Lather explosion It blew up more after a little more water to get it nice and slick. Man, looking at that I knew. I knew this was going to be a good shave finally. Slapped it on my face and away I went. First pass WTG. Second XTG, third ATG. BBS. No cuts, nicks, weepers. No irritation. Nothing! Then I was thinking as I rinsed my face and checked for rough spots "man I bet this is gonna burn like fire...it couldn't have been that easy". Slapped on a couple splashes of the ghost town barber and almost nothing. No burn. A little warm on my neck and a tiny bit of redness. No burn AT ALL. Awesome first shave of the week! I will not be going back to the Walgreens blades.
Also @clint64 I pray for healing and relief for both of you. Back issues really take a toll and I hope the doctors can make a difference!
Thank you. I think it turned out great. It will be going back out to Mark on Wednesday. I also have a package for @DDuckyMark and a package for @Douglas Carey that I am late sending out.
Thank you Chris. I have had chronic abdominal pain for over a decade but this back thing has taken it to a whole new level.
Triple hash scattered, covered and smothered, 3 eggs over medium, side of bacon and a black coffee is how I do it. Finally got caught up on sleep last night and feel great today.

September 7, 2015 - Labor Day Single-Edge SEptember Injectors and perhaps a GEM This month marks my first shaves with injectors. In the first week of SEptember I had 6 great shaves with Schick injectors: a J3 "Golden 500"; an I2 - another hydro-magic Schick; and a G series. All gave excellent shaves and cause me to want to assess them again during a longer time period someday soon. Next up is a Canadian-made Schick believed to be an E series (E2) and on the more aggressive side than my first three. Mid-morning shave, with two-day growth. Hot Shower Soap: Proraso Green Brush: Omega Pro 48 Razor: Schick Type E - Canada Blade: Schick Injector (China) (1) TSD Witch Hazel Aftershave Cream: Proraso After Shave: Proraso Green I was a bit apprehensive stepping up to the plate for this one as I was warned that I'm about to move upon the aggressiveness scale for Schick injectors. Evidently, the week I just spent with some of the milder versions prepared me well for today. The first pass did a decent (not stellar) job of whisker reduction, but the second (ATG) pass and a minor touch-up, left me smooth with a great shave, similar to all the injectors I've done this month. This is such a beautiful, handsome razor (thanks @Omaney )that I'm going to spend a full week with it and get to see how I can improve the experience. I know, I said I just got a great shave, but I'm gonna experiment to try and realize it's full potential. First, I'm going to switch my first pass to a XTG and see if that reduces growth better than a WTG and thereby set up the ATG for a even smoother last pass. And as usual, keep up the hunt for the best cutting angle. Right now I'm starting the stroke just a few degrees from flush with the head. Hope you're all having a great Labor Day weekend - brought to you by the folks who established the weekend! Cheers! RT
I had a pretty good shave yesterday with my type G1. I lathered up with proraso green and a semogue boar. No preshave or aftershave but it was BBS except for the neck which was pretty close to it. No irritation. I pulled a XTG pas and an ATG and called it done.
