The Wife bought me a bottle today and at first whiff, 10 minutes after a conservative spritz, my schnozz is having trouble distinguishing it from Paco Rabane, which is already a favorite. Quorum is a bit darker and richer, and not as sharp, but very similar (so far). Should I wait it out for some change in bouquet, or am I stuck with something redundant to Paco?
Bought it for the first time this past week and it's the only cologne/EdT. I've never sent one back - but this one I can't stand so it's being returned next week. Happy to hear it works well for you though - smell is maybe the YMMV of them all....
It smells great on my brother-in-law, but it reeks on me. My wife says that it's definitely all about body chemistry.
About an hour in, the scent has changed considerably. No longer resembles PR...now a lightly smoky, slightly sweet leathery something-or-other comes out. Not bad...not particularly unique at this point, but not bad. Fall/winter for sure.
Oh I meant that the perception of a scent is maybe the area that is THE most subjective of them all I do love The Veg though....
I have the EDT and the aftershave, and love them both. Both were well priced too. A few months ago, my brother and his family were staying with us for a weekend break. They were using our bedroom with my little en suit shave den as there bathroom. After breakfast my brother went upstairs to get showered up to go out for the day. As he has so often in the past , he usually has a little look at my aftershaves, EDT, and other lotions and potions , and knows he more than welcome to sample any he wishes.... So he re- appears all scrubbed up, and says , I've tried one of your aftershaves and sprays out. 'The one that smells like an old bedouins tent' I knew exactly the one he meant.
Oh. I see. Sorry. I panicked because I thought I'd upset someone. I used a word in a post a few days ago, and I think it was totally taken the wrong way. It was harmless. But I got snapped at.
