The picture is not from today ... but I'm wearing my Orient quartz this week. Usually I don't take a quartz watch with me when I'm travelling, but this one got a new battery recently :)

Nice watch, Indeed. May I enquire how you search and acquire new watches? Is it usually online or do you visit watch outlets frequently?

Sort of. They stopped running but at least they're accurate twice a day.

I usually buy used, but always in the Netherlands, so that I can inspect the watch in person.

I believe watches mostly worn on the left side is simply a function of most people being right handed, and it's easier to fasten the clasp with the right hand.

The only digital watch that never gets old or goes out of style (obsolete) :)

Exactly, most products are designed while keeping right handed users in mind and not left. Majority has the authority.

After looking at this thread this morning, I started looking up automatic watches with the crown on the left side of the case. Manufacturers do realize that lefties also want to wear their watches as "naturally oriented" as righties, pretty cool.

I am a lefty but has always worn timepiece on left hand - born and raised that way. I haven't given it much thought as it was just the way one wore a watch.
